looking for sausage and cheese kolache recipes

About 10 years ago, I worked with a woman from Yugoslavia. She fixed our co-workers something she simply called “pie” several times. It looked like a pie, but it was filled with sausage. I’m not even sure what else was in there, but it was very good! I have long since lost touch with this woman, but am very interested in finding a similar recipe. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!

Well after coming back from another wonderfu trip from New Brunswick and having the wonderful breads and buns from all kinds of little bakeries, I couldn't help to notice the difference. I live in Victoria, BC and would love to experiment with some bread baking to try and get something similar - does anyone know of that kind of recipe?

I think these delicious italian cookies are called croccantini, or as someone also called them "ugly but beautiful". They have egg white , chocolate and almonds in them.I would be so pleased if someone could provide the recipe.

Anyone have a recipe for a veggie napoloeon, dairy free? I had it once at a wedding...it was sandwitched between layers of phillo dough. Tryed making it myself but not great...
