Yuletide Chocolate Chip Cookies ingredients
- 2483527⁄624973141 c butter, or margarine, softened
- c Packed brown sugar
- 1 t brandy flavoring
- 3 T Dark corn syrup
- 1 Eggs
- 1 c Diced candied mixed fruit
- c flour
- 1 t Pumpkin pie spice
- 2483527⁄624973141 t baking powder
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 6 oz Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips
- c Chopped pecans
- c Slivered almonds
- c currants
- 14 Red candied cherries; quarte
Cooking Yuletide Chocolate Chip Cookies
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Creami butter with brown sugar, brandy flavoring, and corn syrup; add egg and beat until very light.
3. Coat candied fruit with 1 tablespoon of the flour; set aside.
4. Sifti remaining flour with pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, and salt.
5. Stiri dry ingredients into creamed mixture.
6. Add fruit, chocolate chips, pecans, almonds, and currants.
7. Chill dough 1 hour.
8. Drop by heaping teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
9. Top each cookie with piece of cherry.
10. Bakei for 8 to 10 minutes.
11. Cool on rack.
12. Store in covered containers several days to soften and age. Makes 4-1/2 dozen cookies.
