Yakitori glaze ingredients

  • 1⁄2 c Sake
  • 1⁄4 c Mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 3⁄4 c Japanese soy sauce
  • 1⁄4 c Sugar
  • 1 oz Tamari
  • 1 t Grated fresh ginger

Cooking Yakitori glaze

1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Cook until reduced by a quarter.
3. Cool. Store in the refrigerator.
4. Makes about 1
