X Jalapeno-Orange Shrimp ingredients

  • 1⁄3 c Unsalted butter
  • 1 lb tiger prawn
  • 2 T Shallot
  • 1 Jalapeno chile
  • 1⁄2 c Dry white wine
  • 1 c Fresh orange juice
  • 3⁄4 c Cream
  • 3⁄4 lb Angel hair pasta
  • parsley

Cooking X Jalapeno-Orange Shrimp

1. Heat butter in a large saute pan, over a moderate flame.
2. Add shrimp and saute for 2-3 minutes, until pink on all sides remove shrimp with a slotted spoon.
3. Add shallots and sliced jalapenos.
4. Heat and stir for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add wine and bring just to the boil.
6. Add orange juice and cream-mix well.
7. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring often, until reduced to a thin sauce.
8. Seasoni to taste with salt and pepper.
9. Cook pasta in boiling salted water, drain well.
10. Arrange pasta onto a large serving platter.
11. Add shrimp to the sauce mixture, until heated through.
12. Pour over the paste and toss gently to mix well.
13. Garnishi with minced parsely.
14. Serve hot.
