Wyoming Sheepherder Chili ingredients

  • 3 lb Ground beef
  • 4 T dried onions
  • 1⁄4 c Chili powder - mild -- medium
  • 1 T Cumin
  • 2 T worcestershire
  • 1 t garlic Powder
  • 1⁄4 t Cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 t Oregano
  • 1 t Vinegar
  • 1 cn Stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cn Tomato sauce

Cooking Wyoming Sheepherder Chili

1. Browni the meat in a heavy pot, drain off the fat and add all the other ingredients.
2. Simmeri for at least 2 hours, adding water as needed.
3. Thicken with flour if desired (preferably Masai Harina or ground-up corn tortillas).
