Winter fruit compote ingredients
- 1 c Chicken broth, (College Inn)
- 3 T Sugar, light brown
- 2 T Lemon juice
- 1 t Cornstarch
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Allspice, ground
- 16 oz Peaches, sliced, drained
- 20 oz Pineapple chunks, drained
- 17 oz Cherries, dark sweet pitted
- 1 Drained
- 6 oz Apricots, dried
Cooking Winter fruit compote
1. In 3-quart oven-proof casserole, stir together broth, brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch and allspice; add fruits, stirring well.
2. Cover; bake at 350 °F for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Serve warm as a side dish with poultry or pork or as a dessert.
