Western Barbecue Beef Brisket ingredients
- c molasses
- c Prepared mustard
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Light-brown sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 c worchestershire sause
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Hot pepper sauce
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Pineapple juice
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Cider vinegar
- 1 t Red chile powder
- 1 T Onions
- 6 lb Beef brisket
Cooking Western Barbecue Beef Brisket
1. Combine ingredients-mix well.
2. Cover and chill for 4-96 hours.
3. Drain meat, reserving marinade.
4. Prepare a medium-hot grill.
5. Browni brisket on all sides.
6. Place onto a section of grill, away from direct heat.
7. Cover and grill for 15 minutes.
8. Turn and baste well with the reserved marinade.
9. Cover and grill for another 15 minutes.
10. Wrap in heavy foil, leaving a hole for the marinade.
11. Pour in reserved marinade, seal up hole.
12. Place onto the grill, away from direct heat,.
13. And cook for another 90 minutes, until tender.
14. Remove from grill.
15. Bias slice, across the grain.
16. Serve hot.
