wayne’s spicy turkey burgers / meatballs

wayne’s spicy turkey burgers / meatballs ingredients
- 16 oz Ground turkey
- 1 t Cayenne pepper
- 1 t Cumin powder
- 1 t Dried oregano
- 1 t garlic Powder
- 2 Egg whites
- 4 T medium salsa
- 1⁄4 c Bread crumbs
- clv garlic
- 2 T premium olive oil
- 1 t Essence
Cooking wayne’s spicy turkey burgers / meatballs
1. In a large bowl mix together the *essence, oregano, pepper, cumin powder, garlic powder, egg whites, bread crumbs, and salsa.
2. Use a garlic press and press garlic into the turkey.
3. Add the turkey, and mix thoroughly.
4. Add olive oil to pan, and pre-heat on medium for 4-5 minutes.
5. Shape into 4 burgers or 9=12 meatballs.
6. Cook on stovetop in cast iron grill pan or large non-stick pan, over medium heat.
7. Cook burgers / meatballs for 6-8 minutes per side until center is no longer pink.
8. Cover pan with lid for 2 minutes, after cooking starts.
9. Place Burgers / Meatballs on rolls, add toppings, and put them In the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the rolls begin to turn brown.
10. *Emeril's "Essencei" 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika 2 tablespoons salt 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 tablespoon black pepper 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon dried thyme Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
