Walnut chicken with ham ingredients

  • 2 c Chicken, diagonally sliced
  • -OR-
  • 1 Whole breast chicken diagonally sliced
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 1 T Wine
  • Salt
  • 1 med Onion sliced or diced
  • 1 c Frozen peas
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sliced water chestnuts
  • 2 sli Luncheon ham, sliced in 2x1" pieces
  • 3 T Oil
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Walnut meats, toasted

Cooking Walnut chicken with ham

1. Slice and prepare ingredients.
2. Toasti walnuts.
3. Marinatei meat in wine, soya sauce, and salt about 5 minutes.
4. Heat oil in wok to smoking point.
5. Stiri fry chicken and onions together 3 minutes, add peas and water chestnuts, stir, cover wok and cook ingredients 3 more minutes, lifting cover twice to stir ingredients.
6. Mixi in ham and walnuts.
7. Note: if desired, almonds or cashews could be substituted for walnuts, or nuts may be omitted altogether.
