Walnut and veggie burgers ingredients

  • MEALS WITHOUT MEAT, TV FOOD
  • 2 T Veg oil, divided
  • 1⁄2 Red onion, chopped
  • 1 Rib celery, chpd
  • 1 Carrots, chopped
  • 1⁄2 Red bell pepper, chopped
  • Garlic, opt
  • 1 c Walnuts, toasted, ground
  • 1⁄2 c Bread crumbs
  • 1⁄2 c Cooked brown rice OR orzo
  • -pasta
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • buns
  • FIXINGS
  • Avocado Slices
  • swiss cheese slices
  • Red onion slices
  • Catsup
  • mustard

Cooking Walnut and veggie burgers

1. Sautei onion celery, carrots and red bell pepper in 1t oil until soft.
2. Cover if desired.
3. Garlici may be added if desired.
4. Add nuts, crumbs, and rice.
5. Form into patties.
6. Fryi in 1t oil until golden.
7. Place on bun and assemble.
