Waldorf mold ingredients

  • 1 pk (3-oz) Lemon, Mixed
  • -Fruit, or
  • -Pineapple-Grapefruit
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 1 c Boiling water
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Boiling water
  • 2 t Vinegar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Finely diced celery *
  • 1 c Diced red apples
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped walnuts
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Mayonnaise (optional)

Cooking Waldorf mold

1. *or use ¾ cup halved seeded or seedless red grapes this tasty salad is a lovely luncheon entree with cold cuts and hot muffins.
2. Makes 3 ½ cups, or 6 side salads or 3 entree servings.
3. Dissolve jell-o and salt in boiling water.
4. Add cold water and vinegar.
5. Chill until very thick.
6. Foldi in celery, apples, walnuts and mayonnaise.
7. Spoon into individual molds or a 1-quart mold.
8. Chill until firm.
9. Unmold and serve with cheese balls if desired.
10. Cheesei balls shape a 3-oz package cream cheese into 12 small balls.
11. Roll in chopped nuts.
12. Easy waldorf mold dissolve 1 package (3-oz) lemon, lime, or mixed fruit jell-o in 1 cup boiling water; then add ¾ cup cold water.
13. Chill until very thick.
14. Then fold in 1 ½ cups prepared waldorf salad (homemade or commercial).
15. Pour into a 1-quart mold.
16. Chill until firm.
