Vegetarian pate ingredients

  • 1 med Onion, chopped
  • 1 T margarine or water
  • 2 lb Fresh mushrooms, finely
  • -chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T Chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 1⁄3 c Bread crumbs
  • 2 T Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Cooking Vegetarian pate

1. In a large saucepan, heat the margarine or water and cook the onion for 10 minutes.
2. add the mushrooms and cook for another 20-30 minutes, or until all the liquid has evaporated.
3. Remove the mixture from the heat and add the remaining ingredients.
4. Spoon into a serving dish and serve immediately.
