Vegetarian Chili ingredients

  • 1 med onions, thinly sliced
  • 2483527⁄624973141 Green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 T butter Or margarine
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T Chili powder
  • 28 oz Canned whole tomatoes
  • - crushed
  • 3 c Cooked/canned kidney beans
  • Salt, pepper
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 c Hot cooked brown rice
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped green onion

Cooking Vegetarian Chili

1. Sautei onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
2. Stiri in garlic, chili powder, tomatoes and beans.
3. Seasoni to taste with salt and pepper.
4. Simmeri 10 minutes.
5. Add cheese and cook, stirring, until melted.
6. Spoon into individual mounds of rice.
7. Garnishi with green onions.
