Vegetable medley with sesame sauce ingredients
- VEGETABLE MEDLEY
- 1 c onions, thinly sliced
- 1 c Carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 c Daikon radish, thinly sliced
- 4 c Broccoli florets
- 4 c Cauliflower florets
- 2 c Cabbage, chopped
- 2 T Sesame seeds
- SESAME SAUCE
- 1 T Toasted sesame oil
- 2 T Tamari
- 1 T brown rice vinegar
Cooking Vegetable medley with sesame sauce
1. Medley: steam vegetables until they are tender-crisp (5 minutes).
2. Plunge into cold water to stop cooking & drain well.
3. Transfer to a serving bowl & set aside.
4. roast sesame seeds in a small skillet over medium heat, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
5. Set aside.
6. sauce: combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
7. Pour over the vegetables & toss to coat.
8. Sprinkle with the roasted seeds & serve.
