Vegetable almondine bake ingredients

  • 3 oz Wheat flakes
  • 3 oz Onion, chopped
  • 3 oz Tomato, chopped
  • 3 oz Green pepper, chopped
  • 1 1⁄2 oz Scallions, chopped
  • 1 1⁄2 oz Almonds, blanched, slivered
  • 1⁄4 t thyme
  • 1⁄4 t sage
  • 1⁄4 t Curry
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 2 T Sesame oil

Cooking Vegetable almondine bake

1. Preheat oven to 375 deg. Lightly grease 4 x 8 baking dish with sesame oil. Cook wheat flakes in 12 ounces of water for 10 to 12 minutes.
2. Sautei vegetables, almonds, thyme, sage, curry and salt in a skillet with sesame oil for 5 minutes.
3. Combine with wheat flakes and transfer to baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
