Unleavened griddle baked pita

Unleavened griddle baked pita ingredients
- 3 c White flour
- 1 t Salt
- 1 c Warm water
- Vegatable oil
Cooking Unleavened griddle baked pita
1. Combine flour & salt & add stir in enough water so that the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl & is no longer sticky.
2. Stiri till smooth.
3. Kneadi on a board for 5 minutes.
4. Shape dough into rectangle & cut in half lengthwise.
5. Divide into 12 portions & shape into smooth balls.
6. Cover with damp balls & let rest 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Press each ball flat & roll into a 6" or 7" circle.
8. Cover with damp towels.
9. Lightly oil a griddle or skillet.
10. Gently stretch each round as thin as possible.
11. Cook until brown & bubbly spots appear on the bottom, about 90 seconds.
12. Turn over & brown the other side.
13. Remove from griddle & wrap immediately in towels.
