Uncooked Tomato Sauce for Pasta

Uncooked Tomato Sauce for Pasta ingredients
- 4 Large tomato
- 1⁄2 c Pitted black olive
- 1⁄2 c Fresh basil
- 1 T parsley
- 4 fresh garlic clove
- 1⁄4 t red hot pepper flakes
- Salt
- Fresh ground black pepper
- 1⁄2 c olive oil
- 1 lb vermicelli
Cooking Uncooked Tomato Sauce for Pasta
1. Chopi tomatoes and place in a large glass or plastic bowl.
2. Add olives, herbs and spices and salt and pepper, and mix well.
3. Add olive oil and toss together.
4. Allow sauce to stand at room temperature several hours to blend flavors.
5. Saucei may be refrigerated overnight but should be returned to room temperature before serving.
6. Cook vermicelli and drain.
7. Add tomato sauce and toss gently.
8. Serve immediately.
9. Grated Parmesani cheese may be added to the pasta before serving.
