- 1 (12 oz) pkg semisweet
- -chocolate morsels
- 1 1⁄4 c Pecan halves
- 28 Caramels, unwrapped
- 2 T Whipping cream
Cooking Turtle candies microwave
1. Micro chocolate in a glass bowl at high for 1 ½ min, stirring after 1 min. stir until smooth; cool until slightly thickened.
2. Drop chocolate by tbsp onto a wax paper- lined baking sheet, shaping into 16 (1 ½ in. ) circles; reserve remaining chocolate.
3. Arrange 4 pecans over each circle; chill till firm.
4. Place caramel and whipped cream in a glass bowl.
5. Micro at high 2 mins or until caramel melts; stir after 1 min. let stand 4 min or until slightly thickened.
6. Spoon caramel evenly over pecans.
7. Microwave remaining chocolate 1 min, stirring after 30 seconds; quickly spread chocolate over caramel mixture.
8. Refrig until firm.
