Turkey Oriental ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 3 T Onions
  • 10 Water Chestnuts
  • 4 T Cornstarch
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 4 T soy sauce
  • 1 T Sherry
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 1 T Vegatable oil
  • 17 oz Canned whole apricots
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c chicken stock

Cooking Turkey Oriental

1. Combine turkey, onion, water chestnuts, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, salt, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, wine and egg whites.
2. Form into 18 balls the size of a large walnut.
3. Fryi the balls in deep oil until brown.
4. Drain.
5. Drain apricots, reserving liquid.
6. Heat pan, add 1 tablespoon oil, liquid from apricots, chicken stock, and remaining 2 tablespoons soy sauce mixed with remaining 2 tablespoons cornstarch; cook a few seconds.
7. Add turkey balls and whole apricots.
8. Heat thoroughly and serve.
