Turkey Brunswick Stew

Turkey Brunswick Stew ingredients
- 1⁄2 c smoked turkey sausage or kielbasa, chopped
- 3 c cooked turkey (remove the skin, debone, and chop)
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 c Onion, chopped
- 8 clv caramelized garlic
- 1 t thyme
- 1 t Rosemary
- 2 c potatoes, washed and chopped
- 16 oz can of corn, with juice
- 28 oz can of plum tomatoes
- 15 oz can of cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 t Tabasco
- 1⁄4 t Nutmeg
- Freshly ground black pepper
Cooking Turkey Brunswick Stew
1. Preheat a large soup or stockpot.
2. Add the olive oil, turkey sausage or kielbasa, onion, and garlic and lightly brown.
3. Place the cooked turkey in the pot and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Add the thyme, rosemary, potatoes, corn, tomatoes, beans, tabasco, and nutmeg.
5. Cover the pot and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, covered.
6. Add fresh ground balck pepper to taste.
