Top of the stove caramel bread pudding ingredients

  • 1 c Brown sugar
  • 3 Slices of bread
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 c Milk
  • 1 T vanilla
  • Ds Salt

Cooking Top of the stove caramel bread pudding

1. Butteri and cube bread slices.
2. Beat eggs with milk and add vanilla and dash of salt.
3. Put brown sugar in double boiler and place buttered bread crumbs on top. Pour beaten eggs and milk mixture over bread cubes.
4. Do not stir.
5. Cook covered over boiling water for 1 hour.
6. It makes its own sauce from brown sugar.
