Tofu loaf

Tofu loaf ingredients
- 1 T Oil
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 1 onions, diced
- 1 Carrots, diced
- 1 Red bell pepper, diced
- 1 Celery stalks, diced
- 2 T Tamari
- 2 lb tofu, mashed
- 4 sli Whole wheat bread
- 1 T Oil
- 1 T Tamari
- 1⁄2 t garlic Powder
- 1 c Nutritional yeast
- 1⁄2 c tahini
- 1⁄2 t basil
- 1⁄2 t Oregano
- 1⁄2 t Turmeric
Cooking Tofu loaf
1. Heat oil in a skillet, add garlic, onion, pepper, carrot & celery.
2. Seasoni with 1 tb tamari.
3. Cook till vegetables are tender.
4. Remove from heat & put in a large mixing bowl.
5. Add mashed tofu.
6. Cut bread into crouton sized pieces & quick fry in remaining oil with rest of tamari, garlic powder & 5 tb nutritional yeast.
7. Add to tofu mixture.
8. Add rest of the ingredients.
9. Mixi well.
10. Place in a well oiled casserole dish & press down very well.
11. Bakei at 350f for 35 minutes.
12. Allow to cool slightly, then turn out on a plate.
13. Slice & serve.
14. Excellent cold too.
