The Sweetest Cherry Rum Cake ingredients

  • 2 c Sweet cherries
  • 1 pk Yellow cake mix
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1⁄2 c water
  • 1 pk instant vanilla pudding mix (small)
  • 1⁄2 c Vegatable oil
  • GLAZE:
  • 3⁄4 c Sugar
  • 1⁄4 c water
  • 1⁄3 c butter
  • 1⁄2 c dark rum

Cooking The Sweetest Cherry Rum Cake

1. Note: 1 serving = 10 inch tube cake Piti and chop cherries.
2. Greasei tube pan. Preheat oven to 350. Combine in a bowl the cake mix, eggs, 1/2 cup water,pudding mix and oil. Stiri in cherries.
3. and pour into tube pan. Bakei at 350 for 45 minutes.
4. (Test for doneness).
5. Cool completely in pan. Turn out on a serving plate.
6. Poke holes all over top with a toothpick.
7. In saucepan over low heat bring sugar,1/4 cup water and butter to boil and boil for one minute.
8. Remove from heat and stir in rum. Serve and enjoy.
