Thai Style Fried Noodles ingredients

  • 8 oz Flat Thai noodles (gwit dio)
  • 4 T Vegatable oil
  • 2 T garlic, chopped
  • ---SEASONING---
  • 1⁄2 c Peanuts, crushed
  • 2 T Chopped sweet pickled radish
  • 1⁄4 lb tofu, diced
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 2 t Sugar
  • 1 t Red pepper flakes
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 Green onions; chopped
  • -condiments -
  • 1 c Bean sprouts
  • 3 T soy sauce
  • 2 T Red & green chili peppers, slivered
  • Sugar (optional)
  • Lime wedges

Cooking Thai Style Fried Noodles

1. Boil noodles in ample lightly salted water for about 7 minutes, or until *al dente*.
2. Drain.
3. Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat.
4. Add the garlic & stir-fry until the colour changes.
5. Add the noodles & stir well.
6. Add all the SEASONINGS & stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes, being careful not to break the noodles.
7. Transfer to a serving dish & serve the CONDIMENTS in small dishes on the side.
8. You might want to sprinkle some extra sugar on the noodles.
