Cooking Texoma Tamales

1. Fat grams per serving: Approx.
2. Cook Time: 1 hr Beat lard until light and creamy.
3. Mixi dry ingredients and beat into lard, a small anount at a time.
4. Beat in chicken broth to make a light soft dough.
5. Spread half of dough in bottum of a greased 10x7x1 1/2 inch baking pan. Spoon chili over the dough.
6. Carefully spread remaining dough over the chili.
7. Bakei in 350ΓΈ F. oven for 45 minutes.
8. Cut crosswise into 8 tamale shapes.
