Texas campfire chili

Texas campfire chili ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lb Trimmed chuck
- -- cut into ½ inch cubes
- 1 med Onion, chopped
- 1 Garlic clove, minced
- 2 c Spicy tomato juice
- 1 c Beef broth
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T Chili powder
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 1⁄4 t Pepper
- 1⁄4 t Cayenne pepper
- 1 T Masa
- 1 T water
Cooking Texas campfire chili
1. Cooking time: 2 ¼ hours Browni meat and onions; drain.
2. Add all ingredients except masa and simmer over low heat for 2 hours, adding more tomato juice if needed.
3. Combine masa with water.
4. Whiski until smooth.
5. Add to bubbling chili and continue cooking for 15 minutes or until thickened.
6. Garnishi with cheese, sour cream and fresh sliced jalapeno, if desired.
