Terrific beef stew ingredients

  • 2 T flour
  • 1 t Salt
  • Pepper
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 lb Beef chuck, 1" cubes
  • 2 T Oil
  • 1 cn Condensed tomato soup
  • 1 c water
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped onion
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Dried basil
  • 4 med Potatoes, pared, cubed
  • 4 med Carrots, 1 inch pieces
  • 1 med Onion, quartered
  • 1 c Burgundy wine

Cooking Terrific beef stew

1. Combine flour, salt, pepper.
2. coat meat & brown in hot oil in oven proof dish.
3. Add soup,water,onion(chopped) and basil.
4. Cover & bake in 375 oven 1 hour.
5. Add vegetables and wine and cook, covered another hour or til done.
6. Veggies should be soft when pierced with fork.
7. Can serve over noodles or rice.
8. Serves 4 (?).
