Tavern beef ingredients
- -CRANE ALDEN
- 2 1⁄2 lb Ground Beef, Lean
- 1 large Onion, peeled and quartered
- 1 c ketchup
- 1 t Chili powder
- 1 t Dry mustard
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 2 c Beef broth, or water
- 8 Hamburger Buns, toasted
Cooking Tavern beef
1. In a skillet,brown and crumble ground beef; drain well.
2. Place beef and remaining ingredients except hamburger rolls in a crockpot.
3. Cover and cook on low 6 to 12 hours.
4. Taste for seasoning before serving and correct if necessary.
5. Spoon over toasted hamburger buns.
