Tangerine Sorbet ingredients
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
- 1 Unflavored gelatin
- 3 c Florida Tangerine Juice
- 1 t tangerine peel
Cooking Tangerine Sorbet
1. In a medium bowl, combine sugar and gelatin.
2. Heat 1 cup tangerine juice to boiling.
3. Add to gelatin and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
4. Stiri in remaining 2 cups juice and grated peel.
5. Cool. Pour into ice cube trays or 9 X 9-inch metal pan; cover and freeze.
6. When almost frozen, scrape into a large mixing bowl.
7. Beat until smooth, but still frozen.
8. Return mixture to pan; cover and freeze until almost frozen.
9. Again scrape into mixing bowl and beat.
10. Spoon into pan, cover and freeze until firm.
11. Serve.
