Tandoori Pork Saute

Tandoori Pork Saute ingredients
- 8 oz Lean pork
- 1⁄2 c Onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 4 fresh California plum
- 1 c Plain Lowfat Yogurt
- 1 T flour
- 1 1⁄2 t Fresh ginger root
- 1⁄2 t Turmeric
- 1⁄8 t Pepper
- 3⁄4 c Brown Rice
- 1⁄4 c wheat berries
- 2 c water
- plum
- Orange
- Green onion
Cooking Tandoori Pork Saute
1. Cook pork in nonstick skillet, half at a time, 2 minutes or until browned, turning occasionally.
2. Transfer to platter.
3. In same skillet, saute onion and garlic 1 minute.
4. Add plums; saute 1 minute longer.
5. Remove from heat.
6. Return pork to pan. Combine yogurt with flour.
7. Add to skillet along with ginger, turmeric and pepper.
8. Bring to boil, then simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
9. Serve over Nutty Ricei and surround with condiments.
10. Nutty Rice: Bring 2 cups water to boil in saucepan.
