Szechuan beef with broccoli ingredients
- 1 T Cornstarch
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Oyster sauce
- 1 pn Crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 T Oil
- 1 T Ginger root, pared

- garlic clove, crushed
- 1 lb Broccoli, cut up
- -Green pepper, julienned
- 2 Celery ribs, slice
- -diagonally
- 6 Green onions, cut in

- 3 T Dry sherry

Cooking Szechuan beef with broccoli
1. Dissolve cornstarch in sherry, oyster sauce, water, and add red pepper flakes.
2. In wok or large skillet, heat oil over med high heat, add ginger and garlic.
3. Stir-fryi 1 min. add broccoli, stir-fry 3 mins.
4. Add green pepper, celery, and green onions, stir-fry 3 mins.
5. Make a well in wok and add cornstarch mixture.
6. Stiri until thickened.
7. Add meat and gently stir.
8. Use chicken broth if mixture is too thick.
9. Serve with steamed rice.
