Szechuan Bean Sauce ingredients

  • c chicken stock
  • 4 t black vinegar
  • 2 t Dark brown sugar
  • 1 T Peanut oil
  • 2 T Fresh ginger root
  • 2 T garlic

  • 1 t Crushed Red Pepper
  • c miso
  • 2 T Hot pepper oil

Cooking Szechuan Bean Sauce

1. Dissolve sugar in water and vinegar, set aside Heat oil in a skillet, over a moderate flame Add ginger, garlic, scallions, and crushed chiles.
2. Heat and stir just until fragrant Add remaining ingredients Heat and stir until slightly thickened Remove from heat.
3. Keep warm.
4. Serve warm.
