Sweet-Sour Kraut and Chops

Sweet-Sour Kraut and Chops ingredients
- 4 med Baking potatoes, peeled and
- -thinly sliced (4-cups)
- 1⁄2 c Chopped onion
- 6 pork chops, 3/4" thick
- 2 T Cooking oil
- 1 cn Sauerkraut, rinsed & drained (27-oz.)
- 1 cn Crushed pineapple (20-oz)
- 2 T Brown sugar
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- dsp Pepper
Cooking Sweet-Sour Kraut and Chops
1. In a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish combine potato slices and onion.
2. Add 1/4 cup water.
3. Bakei covered, at 350 till nearly tender, 45-minutes.
4. Meanwhile, in a skillet brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil. In a bowl combine sauerkraut, undrained pineapple, and brown sugar.
5. Spoon over potato mixture.
6. Place chops atop.
7. Seasoni with salt and pepper.
8. Bake, covered, 45 minutes longer.
