- 2 T Rolled oats, quick cooking
- 2 T parsley, snipped

- 1 Med cabbage head
- 15 oz Tomato Sauce, canned
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Cider vinegar
- 3 T Brown sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 1 ds Pepper
Cooking Sweet-sour beef'n cabbage
1. In skillet cook ground beef, onion, celery, and green pepper till meat is browned; drain off fat. Sprinkle meat mixture with rolled oats, parsley, the ¾ t salt, garlic powder, and the 1/8-t pepper.
2. Core cabbage; cut into six wedges.
3. Place atop the meat.
4. In bowl combine tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, the ½ t salt, and the dash of pepper; mix well.
5. Pour over cabbage and meat.
6. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or till cabbage is tender.
7. Serve at once.
