Sweet-sour beef stew ingredients
- 2 lb Chuck steak, cut 1" cubes
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Catsup
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Brown sugar - packed
- 1 t Salt
- Celery, sliced (optional)
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Cooking oil
- 1 c water
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Vinegar
- 1 T worchestershire sause
- 1 large Onions, sliced
- 1 c Carrots, drained
Cooking Sweet-sour beef stew
1. Combine all ingredients, except meat and carrots.
2. Simmeri about 30 minutes.
3. Browni meat and remove from skillet.
4. Pour simmered sauce into pan drippings of skillet.
5. Place meat in baking dish.
6. Pour sauce over.
7. Bakei at 325°F.
8. for abt. 30 min. add carrots and bake abt. 20 min. more.
9. Garnishi with chopped parsley or sprigs, pimento or make a rice ring of 3 cups cooked rice.
