Sweet-and-sour potatos

Sweet-and-sour potatos ingredients
- 8 New Potatoes, Boiled In Skin
- 1⁄4 t Salt
- 3⁄4 c Sugar
- 3⁄4 c Vinegar
- 1 Onion, medium, diced
- 1⁄4 t Pepper
- 4 Bacon, Slices, Cut Up
Cooking Sweet-and-sour potatos
1. Peeli and cube potatoes.
2. Add diced onion, salt, pepper, and sugar.
3. Reserve in a covered bowl.
4. In a small frypan, fry the bacon until crisp.
5. Add the vinegar to the hot bacon and bring to a boil.
6. Pour immediately over potato mixture, mix well.
7. If too tart, add a little more sugar before serving.
8. Cut endive or leaf lettuce add to this is very good.
