Sweet& Sour Chicken

Sweet& Sour Chicken ingredients
- 1 Carrot -- cut in pieces
- 1 Green pepper -- cut in pieces
- 1 Med Onion -- quartered
- 4 T Tapioca -- quick-cooking
- 4 chicken breasts, boned & skinned
- 8 oz Pineapple chunks unsweetened
- 1⁄3 c dark brown sugar -- packed
- 1⁄3 c Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 T soy sauce
- 1⁄4 t garlic Powder
- 1⁄4 t Ginger, ground
- Rice -- hot cooked
Cooking Sweet& Sour Chicken
1. CROCKPOT: Put vegs.
2. in bottom of crockpot.
3. Sprinkle tapioca over vegetables.
4. Place chicken atop vegs.
5. Combine all other ingreds.
6. except rice in a small bowl.
7. Pour over chicken.
8. Cover crockpot and turn to low and cook for 8-10 hours.
9. Before serving make rice.
10. Serve over rice.
11. Leftovers can be reheated in microwave.
12. OVEN: Put vegetables in bottom of a greased pan. Sprinkle vegs.
13. with tapioca.
14. Add chicken to pan. Combine all other ingreds.
15. except rice in a small bowl.
16. Pour over chicken.
17. Cover pan tightly with foil.
18. Bakei in 300 deg. oven for 2 hours.
19. Before serving make rice.
20. Serve over rice.
