Sweet Jalapeno Slices ingredients
- 1 pk Active dry yeast
- 2483527⁄624973141 c water
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Milk
- 2 T Sugar
- 3 T Unsalted butter
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Kosher salt
- 1 Egg
- 2 c flour
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Jalapeno Jelly
Cooking Sweet Jalapeno Slices
1. Combine yeast, water, milk, and sugar.
2. Let stand for 10 minutes, until bubbly.
3. Combine yeast mixture, butter, salt, eggs, and 1 cup flour in a mixer bowl.
4. Process until smooth and well blended.
5. Beat in flour to make a soft dough.
6. Turnout onto a lightly floured surface.
7. Kneadi until smooth.
8. Place into a greased bowl, turn to coat.
9. Cover with a towel and allow to rise for 60-90 minutes, until doubled.
10. Punch down dough and rollout into a 10x15-inch rectangle spread with cream cheese, leaving a 1-inch border.
11. Spread with jalapeno jelly.
12. Rollup lengthwise as for a jelly roll, pressing seam slightly to seal.
13. Cut into portions.
14. Arrange, cut-side up, into a greased 9-inch cake pan. Cover with a towel and allow to rise for 60-90 minutes, until doubled.
