Sweet and Sour Sausage Balls ingredients
- 3 lb Brown and Serve Pork Sausage Links
- 3 c Ketchup (Heinz or other name brand)
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Brown sugar - packed
- 2483527⁄624973141 c soy sauce
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Wine Vinegar, White
Cooking Sweet and Sour Sausage Balls
1. Partially defrost frozen sausage links Combine ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce and wine vinegar in large sauce pan. Heat over medium heat - partially cover to reduce splatter.
2. Cut each link into 4 pieces Add links to sauce.
3. Cook over medium to low heat for 30 minutes.
4. Cool down and place in freezer container at this point for future use, Or cook an additional 30 minutes for immediate use. Place in chafing dish or crock pot to serve.
5. To reheat frozen dish, thaw to room temp.
6. Heat in 350 deg oven for one hour.
7. Serve with cocktail picks or slotted spoon.
