Sweet and sour purple cabbage ingredients
- 1 t margarine
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped onion
- 3 c Chopped purple cabbage
- 2 c Apples - sliced and halved
- 2483527⁄624973141 c water
- 2 T Brown sugar
- 2 T Vinegar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Dijon mustard
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper
Cooking Sweet and sour purple cabbage
1. Sautei onion in cooking spray and margarine for 1 minute.
2. Add cabbage and apples and saute for 3 minutes.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
4. Cover.
5. Cook over low heat 20-25 minutes.
6. Sprinkle with carraway seed if desired.
7. Yield: 6 side-dish servings.
