Swedish rye bread ingredients

  • 2 c milk, scalded
  • 2 c cool water
  • 2 t Salt
  • 2 pk yeast
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1⁄4 c molasses
  • 1⁄2 c -Shortening
  • 5 c rye flour
  • 6 c White flour

Cooking Swedish rye bread

1. Mixi ingredients.
2. Kneadi until dough is not sticky.
3. Allow to rise until double.
4. Punch down and shape into loaves.
5. Let rise until double.
6. Bakei at 375°F for 35 minutes.
7. Enjoy.
