Sugar and spice popcorn ingredients

  • -Sue Woodward
  • 1 c Light brown sugar, firmly
  • -packed
  • 1⁄4 c butter Or margarine
  • 1⁄4 c Heavy Cream
  • 1 t Ground cinnamon
  • 1⁄4 t Ground cloves
  • 1⁄4 t Ground nutmeg
  • Ds Mace
  • 12 c Popped corn

Cooking Sugar and spice popcorn

1. In a heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients except popcorn.
2. Cook over med. heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
3. Pour over popcorn, tossing to coat evenly.
4. Spread out evenly on a lightly buttered baking sheet.
5. Cool. Break into small pieces.
