SUE'S FAVORITE ROAST PORK ingredients
- 4 lb Boneless pork loin, cut into 2 strips
- 1⁄2 c soy sauce
- 1⁄3 c Honey
- 1⁄4 c Sherry
- 1 t Red Food Color
- 1 t garlic Powder
- 1 t Ginger
Cooking SUE'S FAVORITE ROAST PORK
1. Mixi all ingredents except pork loin.
2. Pour into zip-lock bag, add pork loin, taking out air. Marinatei overnight.
3. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
4. Put enough water into the bottom of a roasting pan to cover.
5. Put roast on a rack in pan. Bakei 30 minutes, turn meat over and bake additional 20 minutes.
6. Let cool slightly, then slice diagionally.
7. Dipping Saucei: Mix 1 Tbsp dry mustard with just enough water to make a paste, then gradually stir in about 1/4 cup of soy sauce.
8. In a hot frying pan toast 2-3 tablespoons of sesame seeds until golden brown.
9. Dip meat into sauce then into sesame seeds.
10. This roast is very good cold, that is if there are any leftovers! Also you can subsitute 2 strips of pork tenderloin instead of the boneless pork loin.
