Strawberry Zabaglione ingredients

  • 1 qt fresh strawberry
  • 6 Egg yolks
  • 1⁄4 c Superfine sugar
  • 2 T almond-flavored liqueur
  • 1⁄2 c Heavy Cream

Cooking Strawberry Zabaglione

1. Combine eggs and sugar, beat until thickened.
2. Set bowl over (but not in) hot water and whisk until very thick remove from heat, stir in liqueur.
3. Place on ice or freeze to chill for 30-45 minutes.
4. Foldi whipped cream into chilled mixture.
5. Spoon into dessert cups and garnish liberally with strawberry halves.
6. Serve slightly chilled.
