Stir-fried onion-pepper asparagus ingredients

  • 3⁄4 lb Asparagus
  • 2 T Oil
  • 4 med Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 bn Green onions, sliced, white
  • 1 Cl Garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1⁄2 med Green pepper, slivered
  • 8 oz Waterchestnuts, drained
  • 3⁄4 c chicken broth
  • 1 T Cornstarch
  • 2 T soy sauce

Cooking Stir-fried onion-pepper asparagus

1. Recipe by: my great recipes preparation time: 0:20 trim asparagus and cut diagonally into thin slices.
2. heat oil in large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
3. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring, until lightly browned.
4. add asparagus, green onions, garlic and greep pepper.
5. Stir-fryi for 2 to 3 minutes.
6. add water chestnuts and stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes.
7. blend broth, cornstarch adn soy sauce.
8. Stiri into mixture.
9. Cook, stirring, until thickened.
10. Reducei heat.
11. Cover and simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until vegetables are of desired doneness.
