Steamed Bean Dumplings ingredients

  • 1 c black beans,canned or cooked
  • 1⁄4 c caramelized onion
  • 6 clv caramelized garlic
  • 1 T Fresh Ginger, chopped
  • 1 Green onions; chopped
  • 1 t Sesame oil
  • 2 t Light soy sauce
  • 1⁄4 c unsalted peanuts,chopped
  • 12 oz package wonton wrappers
  • 2 Egg whites, slightly beaten

Cooking Steamed Bean Dumplings

1. Combine the beans,onion,garlic,ginger,green onion,sesame oil,soy sauce,peanuts,and egg whites.
2. Place several wonton skins end to end. Wet one corner with a little amount of water.
3. Place one teaspoon of filling in each.
4. Foldi the top corner over the filling,making triangle.
5. Press down and moisten opposite corners.
6. Overlap the opposite ends, forming a little hat, and firmly seal.
7. Repeat until all the filling is used.
8. Place the wonton in a steamerand steam for 8 to 10 minutes.
9. Serve with peanut Dipping sauce.
