Steak salad ingredients

  • 3 Shell steaks, ¾lb each
  • 7 T Peanut oil
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Yellow squash
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Zucchini
  • 1 Red Pepper
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • 2 T Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 T tarragon
  • 1 c Onion, thin sliced rings
  • 1 c Corn kernals, cooked
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Boston lettuce, shredded
  • Black pepper, fresh

Cooking Steak salad

1. Preheat a charcoal grill (or broiler).
2. Brush both sides with 2 tsp of the oil and set aside.
3. Trim the yellow sqush and zucchini.
4. Cut into ½-in.
5. Sticks.
6. There should be about 2 cups of each.
7. Set aside.
8. Core and seed the red pepper, then cut lenghtwise into thin strips.
9. Bring enough water to boil in a saucepan to cover the sqush, zucchini and red pepper when added.
10. Add the vegetables.
11. When the water returns to a boil, drain and rinse quickly with cold water.
