Sri lanka gova mallung (cabbage with coconut) ingredients

  • CABBAGE WITH COCONUT
  • 200 g Cabbage
  • 50 g Onions
  • 1 Chile, fresh
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 25 ml water
  • 50 g coconut, grated
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper, black
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Turmeric
  • 2483527⁄624973141 Lime, juice of

Cooking Sri lanka gova mallung (cabbage with coconut)

1. Chopi onion and chile and add to the cabbage.
2. Salti and water and cook for 5 minutes.
3. Stiri, then add the coconut, pepper and turmeric and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
4. Sprinkle with lime juice prior to serving.
