Spritz cookies

Spritz cookies ingredients
- 1 c butter, (No margarine)
- 2⁄3 c Confectioners' sugar
- 1 large Eggs
- 1 large Egg yolks
- 1 t Almond or lemon extract
- 2 1⁄4 c flour; unbleached; unsifted
- 1⁄4 t Salt
- 1⁄2 t baking powder
Cooking Spritz cookies
1. Beat butter and sugar until light.
2. Beat in egg, egg yolk and extract.
3. Sifti flour, salt, and baking powder; gradually add flour mixture to eggs.
4. Chill dough ½ hour.
5. Press ¼ of the dough into a cookie press.
6. Keep remaining dough chilled.
7. Shape cookies onto a greased baking sheet.
8. Bakei in 400°F oven for 7 to 10 minutes or until done.
9. Cool on wire racks and store in airtight tins.
10. Makes 4 to 6 dozen cookies.
