Spirited coffee punch

Spirited coffee punch ingredients
- Stephen Ceideburg
- 8 c Boiling water
- 1⁄3 c Instant coffee granules
- 1⁄4 c Granulated sugar
- 1 c Kahlua or other
- -coffee-flavored liqueur
- 2 c 2-percent milk
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 qt vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 Whipping cream; whipped
- (optional)
Cooking Spirited coffee punch
1. Combine water, coffee granules and sugar, stirring until coffee dissolves; chill.
2. Add kahlua and milk, vanilla and ice cream, stirring until blended.
3. Ladle beverage into cups.
4. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
