Spirited coffee punch ingredients

  • 8 c Boiling water
  • 1⁄3 c Instant coffee granules
  • 1⁄4 c Granulated sugar
  • 1 c Kahlua or other
  • -coffee-flavored liqueur
  • 2 c 2-percent milk
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 qt vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 Whipping cream; whipped
  • (optional)

Cooking Spirited coffee punch

1. Combine water, coffee granules and sugar, stirring until coffee dissolves; chill.
2. Add kahlua and milk, vanilla and ice cream, stirring until blended.
3. Ladle beverage into cups.
4. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
